Tour: Literary Madrid

In the 17th century, the Literary Quarter (Barrio de las Letras) was frequented by a plethora of writers, intellectuals, and actors, as well as tricksters and rascals. Its streets were full of whorehouses and vegetable gardens, hence the name of its main street (calle Huertas).

During our tour you will discover the vegetable gardens left by the inhabitants of the most bohemian quarter of old Madrid, today full of bars, terraces, and theatres.
