WHERE TO STAY?

Most of the places of interest are located in the districts of Centro, Salamanca, Chamberí, Retiro and Arganzuela.

Although Madrid has one of the most modern subway networks in Europe, it is advisable to stay in the surroundings of the above mentioned districts to make it easier to get around.

WHAT TIME OF THE YEAR TO TRAVEL?

The climate in Madrid is quite pleasant at any time of the year if we compare it with other countries of the European community. Most of the year we benefit from sunny days and excellent visibility. In the middle of winter, in the months of January and February, temperatures rarely reach zero degrees but even so, it is not superfluous to put on a good coat. In spring and autumn temperatures are mild, and in summer there are days of intense heat but quite bearable thanks to the low humidity.
