Mercedes holds a degree in Hispanic Philology, is an examiner for the DELE Spanish diplomas in England, Italy and Germany and has a master's degree in technical and literary translation. After spending 26 years living abroad where she has worked as a teacher of Spanish and Hispanic culture, she currently combines this activity with translation, proofreading and linguistic consultancy.
